Duncan Angove, General Manager and Senior Vice President of Oracle Retail, is responsible for leading Oracle Corporation’s retail global business unit. In this role, he is in charge of managing the Oracle Retail executive leadership and overseeing solution groups, strategic planning, product development, sales, service and support. Since the business unit’s inception in 2005, Angove has delivered unprecedented growth in the space and forged Oracle’s capture of the leading market share in retail. Under his leadership, Oracle Retail has grown to do business in more than 30 countries in the world, with the most successful retail brands in the industry.
Prior to managing Oracle Retail, Angove was the Chief Strategy Officer of Retek, where he provided corporate strategy and marketing direction across Retek’s entire solution portfolio until the company was acquired by Oracle in 2005. In this role, he was instrumental in guiding the integration of Oracle, Retek, 360Commerce and ProfitLogic assets into a single application portfolio for the retail industry. Angove’s other positions at Retek included Vice President Market Solutions Group, where he presided over product direction for the company, and Vice President eBusiness, where he was contributory in the creation of the marketplace retail.com. Angove was also a key member of the leadership team that took the company public. He originally joined Retek in 1997 to help build the Services organization.
Before joining Retek, Angove was with Accenture’s (formerly Andersen Consulting) Consumer Products Practice, specializing in retail, distribution and supply chain. He is a native of England, and holds a bachelors degree in Economics from the University of London.
Paco Aubrejuan is the vice president of development for Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise product line. His team is responsible for all aspects of application delivery and maintenance of the PeopleSoft Enterprise products. Prior to taking over the PeopleSoft role, Paco was Vice President of Industry product strategy where he was responsible for defining the product roadmap for industry solutions across JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Siebel and Oracle lines of business. Mr. Aubrejuan joined Oracle through the PeopleSoft acquisition in 2005. During his four year tenure at PeopleSoft, Mr. Aubrejuan held a number of roles in the PeopleSoft CRM division.
Prior to PeopleSoft, Mr. Aubrejuan was a senior manager with Accenture, a leading professional services consulting firm. He was responsible for business and IT strategy, change management and application implementations within Accenture’s Communication Industry group. During his seven years with Accenture, Mr. Aubrejuan worked for leading North America Communications Service Providers.
Mr. Aubrejuan has a bachelor’s of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of California at Santa Barbara.
Bret Fuller is the Senior Vice President for the Oracle@Oracle Best Practices Program at Oracle. He joined Oracle in 1994 and prior to his current role, he led the Applications IT organization at Oracle for 9 years from 1999 to 2008. In the AIT role, Mr. Fuller oversaw the group that is responsible for running the software applications that Oracle uses to run its business. Also during his AIT tenure, Mr. Fuller was responsible for executing the Global Single Instance (GSI) project in which Oracle consolidated their numerous country based information systems into a single instance. Prior to his Applications IT role, he worked in applications development and was responsible for the globalization of Oracle’s financial products. Mr. Fuller has over 25 years experience in developing and implementing enterprise software applications and holds a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences from Stanford University.
Cliff Godwin is the Senior Vice President of Applications Development at Oracle Corporation. Mr. Godwin is responsible for the Oracle E-Business Suite and Higher Education businesses. Mr. Godwin has been a member of the senior management team of Oracle’s Applications business for most of his 18 years at Oracle.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Godwin led the Applications Technology Group which is responsible for ensuring that the Oracle E-Business Suite effectively leverages Oracle’s systems technologies, and for building the common objects and services used throughout the Oracle E-Business Suite.
Mr. Godwin holds M.S. degrees in Mathematics and Operations Research from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Medi has been with Oracle for 19 years, starting as technical lead in Oracle Turkey and then moving to management in Orlando based Americas Product support Delivery organization. After leading Server Technology support delivery for 8 years, for the next 2½ years, she had the responsibilities of Vice President of Application support for Western Hemisphere. Upon the transition to a Global Organization, she has assumed the global leadership position for e-business suite applications, a group of 1500 employees in 37 locations, serving 10,000 Oracle customers. Through her tenure, Medi has lead teams through several delivery models aiming to increase the value of support through improved efficiency and effectiveness. She is also known for her commitment to excellence in customer service through innovation, quality and discipline in execution. Prior to Oracle, Medi had been with SEI Corporation, participating in financial wire transfer, database and operating environment development projects. She has Electrical Engineering and Math degrees from Bosphorous University accompanying with Masters degree in engineering from Northeastern University
Group Vice President and General Manager JD Edwards at Oracle Corporation in Denver, Colorado, USA, since May 2007. In his current role he is responsible for the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, JD Edwards World and Oracle’s Cross Applications Unlimited (XAU) teams. Mr. Hensarling has been with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne since 1999 and served in previous roles as Vice President of Product Strategy and Vice President and General Manager JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
Prior to 1999, Mr. Hensarling held senior leadership positions at Novell and Enterworks Mr. Hensarling has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
John Kopcke is senior vice president responsible for Oracle’s Business Intelligence and Performance Management Global Business Unit (GBU). Kopcke is the driving force and thought leader behind Oracle’s vision for business intelligence and performance management. The GBU includes product marketing, BI and performance management domain experts, and the Crystal Ball (predictive modeling and simulation) global business unit. He brings more than 30 years of experience delivering decision support, business intelligence and performance management solutions. Kopcke spends considerable time with customers and partners to help them leverage Oracle’s products and technology to meet their performance management needs.
Kopcke is a recognized industry pioneer in the development of technologies that formed fundamental building blocks of Performance Management, including: Executive Information Systems, the forerunners of dashboards; multidimensional database technology, precursor to OLAP; time intelligence software critical to financial management systems; a nd single source, platform independent software technologies.
Prior to Oracle, Mr. Kopcke was CTO at Hyperion Solutions establishing the Enterprise Performance Management software category. Prior to Hyperion, he was CTO at Softlab, a BMW company and provider of data management technologies and system integration solutions. Previously, he held the position of CTO for Pilot Software, a provider of financial and operational performance management solutions. Prior to that, he founded Kopcke and Associates, a software and development company specializing in the specification and implementation of software for software products companies.
Named one of the 100 most influential people in finance by the editors of Treasury and Risk Management magazine in 2006, and widely quoted in global technology and business publications, Kopcke holds a B.G.S. from the University of Michigan, with a concentration in Computer Science, Mathematics and Economics. He currently serves on the Peking University.
Jose Lazares is the Vice President of Applications Development and Product Strategy for the Applications Integration Architecture group focusing on delivering Oracle’s Enterprise SOA implementation of composite business processes across it’s portfolio of best of breed applications. Jose’s responsibilities include development and delivery of Pre-Built Process Integration Packs that support mission critical processes that span multiple user functions and applications.
Jose also leads Oracle’s adoption of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) via AIA’s Foundation Pack that provides customers with a scalable framework to build composite business processes that can be easily extended, deployed and governed at the data, process and user interface levels.
Mr. Lazares spent the past eight years as a strategist and development manager focused on Business Process Management (BPM), Collaboration and Service Oriented Architecture at Vitria, PeopleSoft and now Oracle. He also brings over 10 years of industry experience in the manufacturing and distribution of consumer packaged goods. During this time period he held procurement and operations positions with Clorox and later marketing and brand management roles with Reckitt & Colman and Monsanto.
Mr. Lazares holds an MBA with High Honors from Harvard Business School and a BA from the University of California where he graduated with High Distinction.
Chris Leone is group vice president of applications product strategy for Oracle’s Fusion applications suite inclusive of the ERP and CRM functional domains. In this role, Mr. Leone is responsible for driving the business requirements, functional investment priorities and broader business strategies for these areas. Mr. Leone is also responsible for the strategy and development process of the emerging GRC applications suite.
For the last 16 years, Mr. Leone has been developing enterprise software applications for large and mid-enterprise companies. At PeopleSoft, Mr. Leone was responsible for the product management activities of the company’s Financial Management and Enterprise Performance Management product lines. Prior to joining PeopleSoft, Mr. Leone was vice president of marketing and product management at Hyperion where he was responsible for product strategy of business performance management solutions. Prior to joining Hyperion, Mr. Leone was the vice president of sales and sales operations for a startup venture focused on developing financial and performance management applications targeted at mid-enterprise companies.
Mr. Leone earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and a master“s in finance and management from Loyola Marymount University.
Anthony Lye is the senior vice president of CRM, responsible for the Oracle CRM and Siebel CRM On Demand businesses worldwide at Oracle. Previously Mr. Lye was the group vice president of CRM Products at Oracle, responsible for Oracle’s CRM product strategy and product management for CRM in the applications development organization.
Prior to joining Oracle in 2006, Mr. Lye was the group vice president and GM of CRM products at Siebel Systems. Anthony was responsible for Siebel’s vertical and horizontal CRM application technologies. Mr. Lye managed and directed all of Siebel’s enterprise application strategy, product marketing and product management.
Prior to Siebel, Mr. Lye spent six years as president and CEO of ePeople, a company he ran with help and investment from David Stamm, founder of Clarify and Steve Goldsworthy, founder of Vantive. Prior to ePeople, Mr. Lye was the vice president of marketing at Categoric Software in the enterprise event management business, was senior director and general manager at Remedy Corporation for five years for global major accounts, strategic alliances and Remedy’s international business operations. Mr. Lye also worked in product marketing at Tivoli Systems and was a management consultant focused on distributed systems at Arthur Anderson, now Accenture, in the financial services vertical in London and New York.
Mr. Lye holds an honors degree in Engineering from the University of Bath in England.
Steve Miranda is senior vice president of Fusion application development for Oracle Corporation. He is responsible for development of Financials, HR and Payroll, Procurement, CPM, Projects, CRM, SCM, and the functional architecture group.
Mr. Miranda has been with Oracle since 1992, holding a variety of leadership positions within the development organization. Prior to Oracle, Mr. Miranda worked at GE Aerospace.
Mr. Miranda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computational Sciences from Stanford University.
Jim Patrice, Senior Vice President of Global Customer Support, is responsible for Oracle’s worldwide customer support services operation. A thought leader in service delivery excellence, Jim leads a world-class service delivery organization of 6,000 support professionals. Organizations under Jim’s leadership include the Global Support Centers, Customer Advocacy, Supportability Engineering, Center of Excellence, and Support Business Operations.
A veteran in the services industry, Jim has over 30 years of experience in building and designing successful service organizations. Jim brings thought leadership and operational excellence to service delivery and support. He has managed professional services, educational services, and customer support operations for leading high-tech companies. Jim was most recently the Vice President of Customer Support for Oracle Applications. Prior to Oracle Jim was Vice President of Support and Sustaining Development for CRM at PeopleSoft. Prior to PeopleSoft, Jim was the Senior Vice President of Services at Aspect Communications. Jim has also held executive management positions at Silicon Graphics, Electro-Scientific Industries, and Digital Equipment Corporation.
Jim is recognized for his leadership in services management and is a past recipient of the AFSMI Professionalism in Services Management Award. Jim has served on the Advisory Board for Service Management at San Jose State Professional Development and on the Services Executive Counsel for AFSMI.
John Schiff is Vice President and General Manager of JD Edwards World for Oracle. John leads the World development, strategy, product management, marketing, customer loyalty and support teams. John’s organization supports all JD Edwards World customers globally in all revenue ranges and industries. During the last four years that John has led the JD Edwards World organization, the product has been enhanced considerably with a new release, A9.1, and Oracle has announced its Lifetime Support Policy. Schiff leads the effort for the World applications to participate in Lifetime Support and Applications Unlimited, Oracle’s strategy for acquired products. As part of Applications Unlimited, World customers are assured that the product will have regular enhancements, a customer driven road map, a dedicated Denver product team, and will not have forced upgrades.
Prior to this position, John was the Director of World Solutions Delivery at JD Edwards/ PeopleSoft. His responsibilities included researching and prioritizing customer requirements for additional functionality, determining product sourcing, and rollout of new solutions to World customers.
Since joining JD Edwards in 1987, John has been heavily involved in the rollout of the company’s products, WorldSoftware™ (now known as JD Edwards World) and OneWorld™ (now known as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne). His efforts include working with vendors, development, marketing and technical support, as well as being an education liaison. He has consulted on networking and performance and has helped establish a strong relationship with IBM. He has been an advocate of building partner relationships to expand the World ecosystem, including web-enabling legacy systems.
Schiff began his technology career with IBM in South Africa, and has more than 30 years of computer industry experience. He is internationally renowned for his technical expertise. He is a published author, a highly sought out speaker and a spokesperson for the JD Edwards product line.
Schiff has received many awards for professional excellence and special contributions to projects over the years from Quest, IBM and JD Edwards.
Schiff and his wife Eileen, an Oracle employee, have lived in Denver, Colorado for over twenty years and have two children.
Mark Townsend has been with Oracle since 1989, and has worked with customers and partners in three major geographies. He currently works with Oracle’s Server Technology Division, as the Vice President of Product Management, reporting to the head of Database Development, and is directly responsible for the ongoing R&D planning of future releases, and the co-ordination of the product release process for the database across Oracle. He also manages a global database evangelist program, with a team of database experts that are available for customer presentations, technical insights, and proof-of-concepts and benchmarks. He regularly talks to partners, customers and analysts, to better understand new technology and how it can be successfully applied to existing and emerging data processing requirements.
